UNIVERSITY TUN HUSSEIN ONN MALAYSIA.

 

 

Located in the Batu Pahat, Johor on the campus of the Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia lies one of the foremost multidisciplinary research centers focusing on the next generation manufacturing and material technologies - the Advanced Manufacturing and Materials Center (AMMC). The AMMC conducts world class research and development in all major areas of materials and manufacturing and uses the output to promote the introduction of new materials and manufacturing technology and practice to industry. In addition, AMMC focus on helping manufacturing industry, particularly SMEs to develop competitive instruments, machines or products that enjoy increased margins and that compete successfully in existing and new markets.  The Advanced Manufacturing and Material Centre (AMMC) was founded 2008 and is comprised of members of staff from the Faculty of Mechanical & Manufacturing Engineering in the Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia. The value of collaborative research and pooling of resources in this field was recognised by the researchers involved.

Staff and students from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) has extensive collaboration activities with Advanced Manufacturing and Materials Centre (AMMC) shared extrusion facility to recycle 3D printing PolyLactic Acid (PLA) waste into new filament. This initiative promotes a circular economy and sustainable manufacturing practices within the university.

Alhamdulillah, I have successfully delivered my last and 6th keynote speech for this year.
